I've obtained internal BBC emails that reveal that the broadcaster agreed to demands by the Iranian government to not distribute its coverage gathered while its correspondent was in Iran to its Persian language network BBC Persian.

A stunning capitulation to a government that routinely arrests, tortures, and executes journalists. By agreeing to these terms, millions of Persian speaking people are deprived of these reports and the Iranian government gets a propaganda victory.
